Our Story
Born and raised in St. Paul, owners Billy Drexler and Kimmy Brennan strive to be your local, premium selection mom-and-pop dispensary. Billy's passion for this industry began in Amsterdam in 2001 when he judged the Cannabis Cup. Grey Area was his favorite coffee shop on his travels. He went back to judge again in 2002 and made it his dream to open his own cannabis store locally and never looked back. Kimmy's interest in herbalism and natural medicine has grown watching how cannabis has helped family and friends manage pain, anxiety, depression, and alcoholism. Grey Area represents that love of Amsterdam, cannabis culture, and the pioneers that got us here.
